Hollywood Movie Tour @ KUALOA RANCH

Ka’a’awa Valley is one of Oahu’s most breathtaking locations. It’s mentioned in many of the island’s ancient legends, and it’s a place where night marchers are said to roam when the moon is full. It was the playground of kings, and today it’s one of the most popular regions for tourists in Hawaii. And the remarkable thing about Ka’a’awa Valley is, it’s not just tourists who come here. The region is also well-known to TV and movie directors, and it is known as Hollywood’s “Hawaii Backlot.” Over the years, many film crews have spent days, weeks, and months here in the Valley, creating some of the world’s biggest blockbuster films (and some not-so-blockbuster ones).

This tour is your opportunity to experience the Ka’a’awa Valley in all its lush glory, at the same time exploring filming locations of some of your favorite movies and TV shows. And who knows, you might even see a film in production while you’re here!

The Oahu Movie Tour at Kualoa Ranch begins when you climb aboard a vintage school bus, the perfect setting for a step back in time. Your friendly guide will tell you all about the region, its history and of course, the films as you meander through the area.

The tour also takes you to a real WWII Army bunker that was tunneled into the side of the mountain and today is filled with movie memorabilia, props, and publicity posters.

The tour lasts around 90 minutes, giving you plenty of time to explore the stunning natural attractions in the area against a backdrop of the mighty Ko’olau Range.
