Product Description

Begin the Kualoa Ranch Zipline Tour at the top of Ka‘a‘awa Valley. The seven exciting tandem sections are perfect for friends or couples who want to zip side-by-side.  Safely walk across the two exciting suspension bridges (don’t worry, you’re clipped in across the bridges!).  Throughout the tour you will be enjoying nature including three mini-hiking nature trails that take about 5 minutes each.

Ka`a`awa Valley has a rich cultural history and each of the seven ziplines is named after a culturally significant element of the valley. Your zipline tour guide will share with you Hawaiian traditions, flora, and fauna as you cross natural streams and zip through this gorgeous windward valley. The zips were designed so that each provides a distinct cultural experience and learning opportunity.

The Kualoa Ranch Zipline is safe, fun and easy. No experience required! First time “zip liners” immediately get the hang of it. The state-of-the art automatic braking system allows you to enjoy the views and the thrills without having to do a thing. There are no handbrakes on this zipline. Your guide will stop you automatically at the end of your zip.

Q: What if my son is under 80lbs? He's 75lb.
— Asked by Bruce on July 26, 2016
A: Yes. We can help him meet the weight requirement by wearing a body weight, backpack or going tandem with a guide.

Q: I would like to book the Adventure Tower this weekend to celebrate my son's birthday. I have two children who are under 4'6", do I have to purchase 2 guides or can I just go with 1? Second question...My daughter is about 56 pounds, will she be able to go on the Adventure Tower? Thank you!
— Asked by Lynn on July 27, 2017
A: One guide is able to assist 3 children at a time, so you will only need one. Please note that if you or someone else in your party are participating , you are able to assist your children without an additional guide.

We decided to book the bus tour only. If you’re military you get a discount which was awesome! Our tour guide was educational and funny. Loved this area of the island. Very beautiful and shows the true Hawaii lifestyle. Will spend more time here next trip.

We took the jungle tour on an open air military truck. Sights were beautiful. we saw where Jurassic world was filmed. Even learned about Kualoa’s history and some ghost stories. We finished the day with ziplining! So fun!

When we first arrived in Hawaii and started booking tours / activities, we weren’t sure we could add this into our vacation plans. We were told it was very popular and was booking quickly but we managed to fit this in on our last day and it was worth it. We got through all 7 zip-lines, and we did it while it was raining which made the zip-lines faster. it was hot and wet and a lot of fun. don’t be turned off by rain at the ranch as it adds to the fun. we both enjoyed ourselves enormously and would recommend this to anyone wanting a bit of safe fun.

So much fun!! Multiple zip lines, suspension bridges and hiking!!
Our tour guides were nice, fun and made sure everyone was safe!! he
driver of the shuttle bus that brought us out to the zip lines even
pointed out different areas of the ranch where movies such as
Jurassic Park and 50 First Dates and the tv show Lost had been
filmed. Great experience!! Would come back again!

I just wanted to thank everyone that worked at the ranch last Tues and Wed Aug 25th and 25th. Everyone was so nice and efficient. The service alone just makes you want to come back as you feel very welcome. The scenery was great. The ziplining was fun. My family had a great time!

  6. Rated 4 out of 5

We were part of a larger group, but due to zip lining requirements, my younger son was not able to participate (need to be 70 lbs). The zipline tour included the zipline as well as a narrative of the ranch, some hiking and a couple of cable bridges to navigate through. It was a lot of fun and gave us very memorable adventure!

With two teenage boys, it is not always easy to find an activity that everyone enjoys. They loved it and so did we.

  8. Rated 5 out of 5

The zipline tour was excellent. The Kualoa Valley is breathtaking and it was awesome to see where part of Jurassic Park was filmed as well as many other films. Can’t think of a better place to zipline!

  9. Rated 3 out of 5

The views are incredible. The ATV ride was amazing and will be remembered forever (yes, there are governors). The horse ride was a trail ride for beginners, a little slow but what you expect. Good for kids. The weather wasnt so nice to us and our zip lining got cancelled. We got accommodated with a complimentary movie tour.
The staff was excellent and answered all questions. Only giving a 3 because we didn’t get to go on the zipline, so could go either way on the rating.

I’ve been on better ziplines. These were short. But the guides were good. It was very safe, which was important for my girlfriend to come with. Overall good time. Just wish the ziplines were longer.

The ranch was pretty far out of the way, but well worth it. The
valley and the mountains were beautiful. It didn’t seem like you
were on an island. Zip lining was exhilarating for the teens/adults
with plenty of beautiful views. The canopy tour was accommodating
for novice and experienced zip liners. The staff was helpful and
    professional.

Grew up on Oahu and came back home for our yearly visit. WOW what a great experience, a group of 4 and had never been on a zipline before.

I went to Hawaii to Zipline and I’m from Alaska it was totally a fun experience that I would do it again. The scenery is great!

  14. Rated 5 out of 5

The four of us booked the zipline tour a few weeks in advance and we were happy we did. The tour was sold out for 10 days. None of us had ever ziplined before and we all loved it. The Ranch is the sight of many move hits, not the least of which are Jurassic Park and Jurassic World! In addition to a fun and exciting Zip Line day, we got to do it where the movie characters hid behind a log to escape the T-Rex herd feeding frenzy.
All the crew were great with people, even nervous people, and made it a totally safe, fun, interesting, and top-notch experience. Well worth the money!

We are from Australia and have been to Hawaii twice before our baby was born. This was our third visit to Hawaii but first visit to Kualoa Ranch. The scenery here though was breathtaking. We ate at their cafe lunch buffet option and the food was very good! Hearty and simple, exactly what you would find coming out of your own kitchen.

Today we went on the Zip Line in Kualoa and it was EPIC!!! The views were amazing and our guides were super friendly. Just enough mix of information about the history of the ranch, environment, movies filmed on site and excitement of riding. Kiera was FANTASTIC. We had a wonderful time and I would highly recommend it.

Marcella, Vanessa, and Ashley were our guides. All three were absolutely marvelous. They kept us so safe. In fact, they were all so diligent about keeping our lines hooked up at all times that we were all stress free. This tour is something we will remember for a lifetime. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

My boyfriend and I had a blast at Kualoa Ranch. Great fun & very well organised from pick up in Waikiki to arrival at Kualoa Ranch & return. We only booked the Zipline but that included a drive through Jurassic valley to the Zipline start. We did 7 zip lines & 2 swing bridges with little hikes in between. All in all we’re glad we did this. The views were amazing!

In the afternoon we went on the zipline tour and HIGHLY recommend this! It was extremely fun and the tour guides were great (bus driver and zip line guides).

  20. Rated 5 out of 5

Kualoa Ranch has so many things to do and see. We’re born and raised on the North Shore of Oahu and a lot of us don’t explore things that our visitors do. So we went on the Zipline tour. The guides had tons of facts about the ranch, region and history. They really contributed significantly to enhancing the experience. We really enjoyed our day.

  21. Rated 5 out of 5

This was our first time ziplining and it is a great course. The first line is short and gets you accustomed to the zipline and your gear. The guides were very helpful and knowledgeable about the Kualoa valley and its history. We’d definitely recommend this tour to our friends and family!

  22. Rated 4 out of 5

Our tour guide was immensely entertaining and funny and we loved the souvenir photos that she took for us at the Jurassic Park fallen tree. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and we were amazed that such beautiful land is still privately owned. Kualoa Ranch ziplining was one of the best tours on our Hawaiian Vacation.

  23. Rated 4 out of 5

The Kualoa Ranch Zipline Tour was one of the highlights of our trip! This was my first time going on a Zipline Tour, and it was the best experience ever! I was initially nervous, but the guides made sure we were safe and entertained the entire time.

  24. Rated 4 out of 5

The zipline was a blast. They’re building another tower for another zipline and it looks awesome. Loved this area of the island. Very beautiful and shows the true Hawaii lifestyle. Will spend more time here next trip.

  25. Rated 5 out of 5

I’m afraid of heights (and 73 years old) so I was sort of apprehensive to try zip lining but I decided why not. I’m happy I did. I fell exhilarated, exciting, and unafraid. The views of the reservoir and mountains were beautiful. We liked that water and a snack were provided. There are two opportunities to drink water that they provided so no need to bring anything but a camera.

  26. Rated 4 out of 5

My husband and I enjoyed our zipline tour very much. Rusty and Ekolu (I hope I’m close with his name) were great guides. We were very impressed by the safety measures they took. Definitely upgrade to the harness where you go on your belly and fly like Iron man! I wish I had!

  27. Rated 5 out of 5

It was my first experience and I’m so glad I picked Kualoa Zipline!! I was ready to go again the next day! The first line is short, so you can get used to the ride and then they increase in length until the last one, which is really long and so much fun. I would go again!

  28. Rated 5 out of 5

Once you take off, the instructor told you that you could let go on your way down since you are completely hooked in – I only let go a little, but felt very secure on the zip down. What a great zipline experience!! Our guides were the best! They made us all feel safe and confident.

  29. Rated 5 out of 5

They started us off with a little lesson on land and I was completely comfortable. You are hooked up individually, and checked before each run, and being sent down the line. The 2 longest ones were awesome! Going upside down was a trippy view and pretty cool. A few small hikes, but nothing hard at all. The views were AWESOME!!

  30. Rated 5 out of 5

Just loved this!!! The views were amazing, the staff that accompanied us was fun, knowledgeable, and safety conscious. There were 7 ziplines in total I believe and the last one was really long and so fun. The guides made this a great experience.

  31. Rated 5 out of 5

We did the zip line tour while on our honeymoon trip. Our guide Daniel was fantastic. We were impressed with the welcome, introduction, training provided and the excellent care of the guides. There were 7 sections.

  32. Rated 5 out of 5

I had a blast on this zipline tour. You zipline over some of the locations of Jurassic Park. Be prepared to spend the afternoon getting to know about 7 strangers and leave with 7 new friends! I am incredibly afraid of heights but they were very patient with me and helped me through each zipline so that I was really able to enjoy myself. There are 7 zips and the course is well laid out with awesome views.

  33. Rated 5 out of 5

This was our second time zip lining on Kauai. Both trips were great with a few differences in each. I would do another Kualoa Zipline trip again! Guga and Tab were amazing and kept every one laughing the whole time.
