Update on Waikiki Zipline Project
The Waikiki Zipline at Hilton Hawaiian Village was scheduled to open Summer 2015, but the six-month pilot project has been delayed.
The company is addressing concerns of the Department of Land and Natural Resources and completing an environmental assessment. The environmental assessment is halfway complete according to Robert Martin, president of Waikiki Beach Activities, the company with permits for the zipline.
The proposed name of the Waikiki zipline at Hilton Hawaiian Village is “Coconut Glide”. We are looking forward to it.
